The European Language Portfolio (ELP) was developed by the Language
Policy Unit of the Council of Europe. It was created:
-
to support the development of learner autonomy, plurilingualism and
intercultural awareness and competence.
-
to allow users to record their language learning achievements and their
experience of learning and using languages. (1)
This is the
design of our Portfolio for this year:
Children in
Primary school enjoy writing and decorating their own portfolios. The pupils
express their new knowledge of English in it. Each child regularly updates their
portfolio; you can see how we do our portfolios in María Inmaculada.
